Workflow AI can draft a workflow from a plain-language description, so you start from a working outline instead of a blank canvas. Review every step before you publish.

Draft a Workflow from a Plain-English Description with Workflow AI

Workflow AI in GoHighLevel drafts a trigger and actions from a plain-language description so you never start from a blank canvas.

Workflow AI is HighLevel's assistant inside the workflow builder. You describe the automation you want in plain language, for example "when a new lead fills out the quote form, text them, wait a day, then create a task if they have not replied", and it drafts a trigger and actions for you to edit.

It matters because the blank canvas is where most workflows stall. A draft gives you the structure in seconds, so you spend your time on what only you know: the wording, the wait times and your pipeline stages. It is also a quick way to learn which trigger or action covers a job you did not know the platform could do.

Treat the output as a first draft, never a finished build. Check the trigger and its filters, replace any generic message with your own copy and Custom Values, and look closely at the wait steps and any branches. Then run a test contact through it before you publish. Availability and any usage limits depend on your plan and HighLevel's current AI offering, so check what your account includes before you plan around it.

How to use it

  1. Go to Automation > Workflows and start a new workflow
  2. Choose the AI option and describe the trigger and actions in plain language
  3. Open each generated action and replace placeholder text with your own copy
  4. Check the trigger filters, wait steps and branches
  5. Test with a sample contact, then publish

Use the Goal Event Action to Stop Follow-Up After a Lead Books

The Goal Event action lets a follow-up sequence skip ahead or end the moment a lead books or replies, so nobody gets a nudge text after they already said yes.
