Questions we get about this service
Can GoHighLevel bill based on usage on its own?
Not reliably for anything beyond simple products and subscriptions. Usage-based and conversation-based billing needs a metering layer between GHL and Stripe, which is what we build with n8n and Supabase.
Do agencies use this to bill their own GHL sub-accounts?
Yes. Agencies and SaaS-mode operators use it to bill clients per seat, per location or per usage and to pause service automatically on non-payment.
Why is the project phased?
Because billing mistakes cost trust. Starting with subscriptions and status sync gets value fast and de-risks the usage metering that follows.
Do you touch our Stripe account directly?
We work in your Stripe account with restricted API keys and test mode first. You keep ownership and can revoke access at any time.
Can this work with QuickBooks or Xero?
Yes. Stripe's native accounting syncs cover most cases, and we can push invoice data to accounting systems from the middleware when needed.
