Snippets: Save Your Best Replies So You Never Retype Them
Turn your most-typed answers into a slash command so any team member can drop a perfect reply in one keystroke.
Snippets are saved text blocks you build once and reuse inside any conversation, whether that is SMS, email or the unified inbox. Instead of retyping your hours, your booking link or a common objection response, you save it as a snippet with a keyword attached.
This matters most for teams where more than one person answers messages. New hires sound consistent from day one, and nobody has to hunt through old threads to find how the owner usually phrases a price answer. You can drop in Custom Values inside a snippet so the business name, phone number or booking link updates automatically for every sub-account that uses it.
Keep the keyword short and specific, because a long snippet list with vague names slows people down instead of speeding them up. Review the list every month or two and delete anything nobody uses. A snippet library only saves time if the team can actually remember what each one is called.
How to use it
- Go to Settings > Conversations > Snippets
- Click Add Snippet and set a short, memorable keyword
- Write the reply text, adding Custom Values for personalization
- In any conversation, type / followed by the keyword to insert it
- Prune unused snippets every month so the list stays fast to search
