Why Yotomations

Fixed scope and milestone pricing: how we keep a GoHighLevel build from becoming endless

The fear we hear most on first calls is not about price. It is "I don't want to get in a situation where it's just endless." Our pricing model exists to remove that fear.

What the model is

Build work is quoted after a 30-minute discovery call as a fixed-scope proposal: milestones, the deliverables and acceptance criteria for each, the price of each, and change-control language that says what happens if the scope moves. There is no hourly billing on build work and no mandatory monthly retainer. Ongoing optimization exists as a separate, optional engagement you can start or stop.

Why we work this way

Hourly billing puts the risk of every surprise on you and rewards slowness. Retainers make it hard to tell whether anything is getting done. A fixed scope forces the hard conversations to happen before work starts, when they are cheap: what exactly is in phase one, what is explicitly out, what counts as done. It also means the proposal reflects what was actually said on the call, because the call is transcribed and the scope is written from it.

What change control means in practice

Scope changes are normal. The contract says how they are handled: the change is written down, priced, and approved before it is built. That protects you from a bill you did not expect and protects us from absorbing a second project inside the first. Enterprise clients have taken these terms through attorney review; see the enterprise contract negotiation in the med spa case study.

How to compare quotes

Ask every agency for milestones with acceptance criteria, the change-control clause, and who owns the work at the end. If a quote is hourly with an estimate, ask what happens at hour forty-one. The GoHighLevel agency cost guide covers the ranges and the questions. Yelp advertising management is the one recurring service and is priced as a percentage of ad spend; current terms are on yotomations.com.

Questions we hear about this

Do you require a monthly retainer?

No. Build work is fixed scope and priced by milestone. Ongoing optimization is optional and separately scoped.

What happens if I want to add something mid-project?

It is written down, priced and approved before it is built. Nothing is added silently to the bill and nothing is quietly dropped from the original scope.

Why not publish a price list for builds?

Because the same words, a GoHighLevel setup, can mean a two-week configuration or a four-month migration with integrations. A single published number would mislead more people than it helps. We give a written number within days of the call.
