Custom Values: write your business details once, use them everywhere

A custom value is a variable you can drop into any workflow, email, text or funnel, so a changed phone number or offer is updated in one place instead of forty.

Every account has business details that appear in dozens of messages: the office phone, the booking link, the current promotion, the owner's first name, the review link. Custom Values store each one as a named variable. In any text, email, workflow action or funnel page you type the variable instead of the value, and GoHighLevel fills it in when the message sends or the page loads.

The payoff shows up the first time something changes. A new phone number means editing one custom value, not hunting through every workflow. A seasonal offer can be swapped across the whole account in a minute. For agencies the effect is bigger: build the snapshot with custom values for everything client-specific, and onboarding a new account becomes filling in a short list rather than editing every asset.

Name them consistently and keep a note of what each one is for, because the list grows.

How to use it

1. Settings > Custom Values, add a value such as booking_link or current_offer.
2. In any message or page, insert it from the Custom Values menu.
3. Test-send one message to confirm the value renders.
4. Update the value once when the detail changes; every message follows.
