Start Conversation AI in Suggestive mode before you let it reply

Conversation AI has a mode where it drafts replies for your team to approve instead of sending them, which is the right first week for any AI in your inbox.

Turning on Conversation AI and letting it answer leads on day one is how most bad AI stories begin. GoHighLevel offers a middle setting. In Suggestive mode, the AI reads each incoming message and drafts a reply inside the conversation, but nothing goes out until a person clicks send. Your team sees exactly what the AI would have said, edits it if needed, and you learn where the bot is confidently wrong before a customer does.

Run a week or two like this, feeding corrections back into the bot's training and the FAQs you give it. When the drafts are consistently right for a channel, switch that channel to Auto-pilot, where the AI replies on its own and books appointments. Keep any channel where prices, complaints or clinical questions show up in Suggestive mode longer, or off.

The result is the same automation with far fewer surprises, and a team that trusts the bot because they watched it learn.

How to use it

  1. Settings > Conversation AI, choose the sub-account channels to enable.
  2. Set the mode to Suggestive and add your FAQs, offers and booking calendar.
  3. For two weeks, review drafts in Conversations and correct them before sending.
  4. Switch reliable channels to Auto-pilot; keep sensitive ones on Suggestive.

Push a snapshot update to linked sub-accounts without rebuilding them

A snapshot you have already installed stays linked to the accounts it created, so you can push changes to all of them in one step and choose what to overwrite.

The Stale Opportunity trigger: follow-up for deals nobody touched

GoHighLevel can start a workflow when an opportunity has sat in a stage for a set number of days, which turns forgotten quotes into automatic follow-up.

Reminders that fire relative to the appointment, not the booking

The Wait step can pause a workflow until a set time before or after the appointment itself, which is how reminders stop arriving at the wrong hour.
