Set a Minimum Scheduling Notice So Nobody Books You Ten Minutes Out

Minimum Scheduling Notice stops leads from booking a slot that starts in an hour, so your team always has time to prepare, confirm and travel.

Minimum Scheduling Notice is a calendar setting that sets how far ahead a slot must be before it can be booked. If you set it to 24 hours, anyone opening your booking link right now only sees times that start tomorrow or later.

Without it, a booking page shows every open slot, including the one starting in twenty minutes. For a service business that is a problem. The technician is already on another job, the office has not seen the booking, and the lead arrives to find nobody ready. Setting a notice window gives you a built-in buffer between the booking and the visit, so you can confirm details, assign the right person and send directions.

Pick a window that matches how your business actually runs. A same-day plumber may only need two hours. A consultation that needs intake paperwork may need two days. Remember it applies to every booking through that calendar, so if you want one fast option for urgent jobs, create a separate calendar with a shorter notice and link to it only where it makes sense.

Test it after saving. Open the public booking link in a private browser window and check that the earliest available slot is what you expect.

How to use it

  1. Go to Calendars > Calendar Settings
  2. Open the calendar you want to edit and click the Availability tab
  3. Find Minimum Scheduling Notice and enter the hours or days you need
  4. Save the calendar
  5. Open the booking link in a private browser window and check the earliest slot

Who it helps

Home service companies, clinics, consultants and any team that needs prep time before an appointment.

Related: Giving your team lead time before a booking pairs well with reminders that keep clients from missing it.

Turn On Wallet Auto Recharge So Client Texts Never Stop

Auto Recharge refills a sub-account's wallet when the balance runs low, so reminders, follow-ups and missed call texts don't silently fail.
