Here is how to give every new lead a named owner inside GoHighLevel automatically.
The Problem
A lead comes in and everyone assumes someone else is handling it, so it goes cold. GoHighLevel has an action that assigns ownership the moment a contact arrives.
Add the Action
Open Automation, then Workflows, and click the plus sign after your trigger. Add the Assign To User action and select the user who should own the contact.
Key Setting
Turn on the option to only apply to unassigned contacts, so the workflow never overwrites an owner someone set by hand. Then add an Internal Notification action so the new owner finds out right away.
