GoHighLevel pricing explained: Starter, Unlimited and SaaS Pro

The three GoHighLevel plans, what sits behind each price, the usage charges nobody mentions on the pricing page, and how to pick the plan you will still be on in a year.

Short answer: GoHighLevel has three plans. Starter ($97 a month) is enough for a single business. Unlimited ($297 a month) adds unlimited sub-accounts, API access and a branded desktop app, which agencies and multi-brand groups need. SaaS Pro ($497 a month) adds SaaS mode for reselling the platform under your own brand, with rebilling and the advanced AI features. All plans charge usage for texting, calling, email and AI on top of the fee. You can compare the three plans side by side on HighLevel's pricing page.

What every plan includes

Unlike most CRMs, GoHighLevel does not charge per seat or per contact. Every plan includes unlimited contacts, unlimited users, the CRM and pipelines, two-way SMS and calling, email, calendars and booking, funnels and websites, forms and surveys, workflow automation, reputation management, memberships and courses, and the mobile app. That flat structure is the main reason a five-person service business with 40,000 contacts pays a fraction of what HubSpot or ActiveCampaign would charge at the same scale.

Starter: $97 a month

Starter is the right plan for one business, or up to three locations that share an owner. It caps you at three sub-accounts and does not include API access or the branded desktop app, but almost everything we build in our Speed to Lead Sprint and Reminder and No-Show Rescue packages runs on Starter without compromise. If you are a med spa, a roofing company or a clinic with one or two locations, start here.

Unlimited: $297 a month

Unlimited removes the sub-account cap, adds API access and lets you brand the desktop app. You need it when you run more than three locations or brands, when an integration has to use the API (our two-way syncs with Zenoti, EMRs and job management tools do), or when you are an agency hosting client accounts. Multi-location groups often find that the ability to keep each location in its own sub-account, with a shared snapshot, is worth the step up on its own.

SaaS Pro: $497 a month

SaaS Pro is for agencies that sell GoHighLevel to their clients as their own software. It adds SaaS mode with self-serve signup and plan tiers, rebilling of usage at a markup, the advanced AI features and split testing. If you are not reselling the platform you do not need it. If you are, the rebilling alone usually covers the difference. We wrote a separate guide to the SaaS Pro plan and SaaS mode, and HighLevel offers a dedicated trial if you want to try SaaS Pro before committing.

The costs that are not on the pricing page

  • Usage. SMS segments, call minutes, email sends, AI conversations and voice minutes are charged through a prepaid wallet at rates close to the underlying carrier and model costs. A single location running speed-to-lead texting, reminders and review requests spends a modest amount per month; a reactivation campaign to 20,000 old contacts spends noticeably more, which is why we budget usage inside the Database Reactivation Campaign.
  • Phone numbers and A2P registration. Each number carries a small monthly fee, and A2P 10DLC brand and campaign registration has one-time and monthly fees. Our A2P guide explains what to expect.
  • Add-ons. HIPAA compliance, Priority or Premium Support, the AI Employee unlimited bundle and the white-label mobile app are optional add-ons with their own fees. The platform guide lists them.
  • Setup and build work. The subscription buys an empty account. Configuring it is your time or a partner's. Our fixed-price packages exist so that number is known in advance.

Monthly or annual?

Annual billing costs less than twelve monthly payments and locks in the current rate. It is the right move once the build is stable and the account is doing the work you wanted from it. It is the wrong move on day one, before you know whether you will stay. Our advice is to start monthly, run for a quarter, then switch to a Starter or Unlimited annual plan if the numbers are working.

How we help

We do not sell the subscription. You keep your own account and pay HighLevel directly. What we sell is the work inside it: a $497 audit if you already have an account and do not trust it, fixed-price build sprints if you are starting, and a monthly care plan if you want someone watching it. If you are still deciding whether GoHighLevel is the right platform at all, read What is GoHighLevel? and the HubSpot comparison first.

Frequently asked

How much does GoHighLevel cost per month?

The platform fee is $97 a month for Starter, $297 for Unlimited and $497 for SaaS Pro. Usage for SMS, calls, email and AI is billed separately, so a busy single location typically adds a modest amount on top of the plan fee.

Is there a free trial?

Yes. The standard trial is 14 days on any plan. HighLevel also runs a 30-day trial through its Bootcamp onboarding program, which we cover in a separate article.

Can I switch plans later?

Yes, at any time, and the change is prorated. Many of our clients start on Starter and move to Unlimited when they add a second brand or need the API for an integration.

Does Yotomations earn anything if I sign up through your link?

Yes. We are a HighLevel affiliate and a certified partner. If you sign up through an affiliate link on this page we may earn a commission. It costs you nothing extra and it does not change which plan we recommend.
